Good fun, having a laugh and poking fun at yourself are a little rare in Art- Perhaps it's because jokes in art aren't really that funny- See Sarah Lucas. S. Mark Gubb's work is pretty bloody funny though. He plays upon the stigma of being a fully- grown- responsible adult and still liking metal and stupid stuff like skateboarding, which is obviously rad and shouldn't be taken as seriously as some people take it.
